Endoscopic Laser Disc Decompression

Get BACK to life! Treat herniated discs without open surgery.

Endoscopic laser disc decompression is a state-of-the-art, minimally invasive spine procedure used to treat protruding discs. The endoscope, a narrow tubular instrument inserted via a small incision in the skin, provides the ability to directly visualize the herniated disc segment. By inserting small instruments, including a laser, through the tube, the offending disc segment is extracted, thus relieving pressure on the nearby nerves and decreasing pain.

Endoscopic laser disc decompression is different from standard lumbar disc surgery because there is no muscle dissection or bone removal. With only one small incision to accommodate the micro-instruments, most complications that occur with open surgery are eliminated.
